How Clean is it?: 85%

Casa Nicarosa was a pretty clean place, being cleaned every day however my bathroom may have been cleaned a bit too much since it reeked of ammonia.

Any Character?: 80%

Casa Nicarosa like most midrange hotels didn't really have much in the way of character. It did have some flare though with the furnishings in the common room as well as the rooms themselves.

How Fun was it?: 75%

Casa Nicarosa wasn't that fun of a place since it wasn't very easy to meet other travelers there and they didn't really book any activities. However they did have free Wi-Fi as well as cable TV in room that had plenty of channels in English.

Casa Nicarosa was of somewhat less than average value. I found out while there I could have stayed at nicer places for the same price.

The Extra Good:

I really liked the location of Casa Nicarosa. You are within easy walking distance to Manila Bay which has amazing sunsets, some local eateries with great prices as well as a short cab ride away from the main tourist sights of Manila.

The Extra Bad:

The price was a bit steep for the area. I found out that I could have stayed at nicer places for the same price, but they didn't have online availability so I couldn't book them.

Final Thoughts:

Casa Nicarosa was a good place, minus the somewhat steep price. The staff were friendly, rooms clean and the hotel was secure. If they lowered the prices a couple of dollars, then it would have been a great stay.

Would I Stay There Again?:

Maybe, but I would do a bit more of research first.
