Staff: 75%

The staff at Paddy's Palace Belfast wasn't the best. The guys were alright once you got to know them but if they didn't like you then you could expect not to get too much help from them. They also appeared pretty unhappy to be there but they also seemed to be very understaffed. They were somewhat helpful with me since I got to know them but I also saw some of them being rude to other guests.

Location: 80%

Paddy's Palace Belfast is located in Southern Belfast about a 15 minute walk from the bus station and a 30 minute walk from the train station. It is right next to the main university of the city as well as a decent amount of stores and restaurants. There are also a couple pubs/clubs in the area with the majority of places being about a 15 minute walk from the hostel.

How Clean is it?: 80%

Paddy's Palace Belfast was relatively clean but could have been cleaner. Since the place was understaffed the people working didn't have enough time to really clean up the place. However for the most part though the hostel was alright.

The Extra Bad:

Although I got along with them for the most part, the staff did seem somewhat rude and unhelpful towards other guests. I'm guessing they are somewhat grumpy since they seemed to be overworked.

Final Thoughts:

Paddy's Palace Belfast is an alright hostel to stay at in Belfast. The rooms are comfortable and the facilities are decent. You will either get along with the staff or you won't which could lead to an unpleasant stay. The location is alright.
