Wilderness, South Africa is a sleepy little beach town that doesn't have much going on for it except for the nice view and quite atmosphere.

City Highlights:
Wilderness has a great view and relaxed vibe, If that is what you are looking for, than Wilderness is the place for you.

City Lowlights:
If you don't want to spend all day sitting around on a beach, then it can be pretty damn boring.

Restaurants:
Wilderness has a couple restaurants up in the town center. They all seem to offer more of a romantic, quite atmosphere.

Nightlife:
There is pretty much little to no nightlife in Wilderness except for a bar or two.

Public Transport:
There is no need to worry about public transport in this tiny little village.

The People:
I didn't meet to many locals, but the ones I did meet were nice.

Sights:
Besides the beach, the only other site that people from the hostel visit is a weird old man who has some crazy ass house in a cave that is actually a restaurant that was abandoned after part of the cave it was in collapsed. I hear he is quite the character and the place is supposed to have some wild decorations.

My Thoughts on this City:
Wilderness was "ok". It would be a lot better for a couple who wanted to rent a private room in one of the nicer hotels or vacation rentals, but as a backpacker staying in a hostel, it doesn't have much of anything to offer unless you want to spend all day laying on an average beach.
